The Joseph Story - a one man play.

The story of Joseph is a powerful one-man dramatisation that depicts what it may have been like to have been the human Father of Joseph.  It spans from the birth of Jesus through to the crucifixion and is at times amusing as well as being a  very emotional journey.

Whilst based on fact from the Bible this human perspective is a fictional portrayal of Joseph.  Originally entitled ‘Jesus My Boy’ written by John Dowie  and performed by Tom Conti, a bit more info can be found at this link:

John has been performing this play for a number of years to various groups and churches in both our local area and other UK venues as well as S. Ireland and Bahrain. It has always been very well received for both those of faith or none.

These days invite those who are retired to enjoy a talk  or activity, a two course cooked lunch, an optional chapel service and time to chat and enjoy each others company.
