The Enneagram is a wonderful psychological tool with a surprising Christian heritage that can lead us all on a journey of self-awareness and personal growth.
For those on the Christian path it offers the possibility of unmasking the ingrained habits of the false self and releasing the virtues of the true self we were always meant to be. The Enneagram can offer a road map for long-term discipleship, as well as a tool to help us understand our deeper motivations, why we get stressed and the moves we choose to make and avoid in daily life.
The Enneagram offers us nine different ways of seeing , feeling and knowing the world in which we live, and in a group situation, it can offer a transformational opportunity for understanding why others react differently to ourselves.
Qualified Enneagram Typing Practitioner and Teacher Terry Wood has been on a ten-year journey with the Enneagram and loves the opportunity to work in a relaxed atmosphere with a group gently peeling back defences and exploring a deeper more authentic self.
Terry will provide the teaching for this retreat and will be assisted by his wife Mary who is also qualified in the Enneagram. We will take time together to explore all nine of the Enneagram types and the gifts that they all bring, helping you find your own path and the type patterns that you have been following without realising. Understanding the wisdom of the Enneagram can bring compassion, curiosity and deeper connection in our relationships: with ourselves and with others, and on our own spiritual journey.
