Lord Summersett is hosting a dinner party to celebrate the engagement of his heir and nephew, Henry Stratton, to the Lady Marie-Louise de Provence. In honour of their engagement, he is planning to bequeath a priceless family heirloom – the Summersett Sapphire – to Henry – “just a little foretaste of the inheritance that I will gladly leave to my beloved nephew, and I am sure it will look just beautiful on his blushing bride Marie-Louise on the happy day of their nuptials!”

As it turns out, perhaps Lord Summersett has not kept this surprise as secret as he would like to believe… and when it comes time to unveil the precious heirloom – it has vanished!

Who among the guests has purloined this prize possession, and where have they hidden it? Can you, the guests help Lord Summersett unravel this mystery before the night is done and the Summersett Sapphire is gone forever? What clues will unravel, and what other surprises will be unveiled before the night is done?
