Join Sue Glanville for her two-part course, extraordinary women which focuses on women who have positivity, strength and hope, not just to survive but to grow. The first session will focus on Etty Hillesum, a Jewish woman who was taken to Auschwitz and left letters that displayed her unwavering optimism and faith. It documents her spiritual awakening and tells us of the persecution faced by Jews in amsterdam under Nazi Germany's occupation. We will explore their stories and the relevance of their writings.

Day 2, 26th September will feature Mary Oliver.
