During this course, you will be able to work on an attractive and practical decorative bag, which could have many uses, including storing your stitching projects or materials.

The hand embroidery is worked in Redwork, which dates back to the 1800’s in America where penny squares were embroidered with simple stitches, using just one colour. We will cover a variety of hand embroidery stitches, as well as the inclusion of applique using colourful cotton fabrics, and of course added embellishments.

This course is suitable for all abilities.
