Helping Ammerdown continue to touch people's lives

As a charity, most of our income is generated from the charges we make for the hire of our facilities and for participation in our courses.

However, because we try to keep our rates as low as possible, we also rely on the money donated by guests and supporters to:

offer reductions and bursaries to people on low income or with special needs – many people benefit in this way every year;
offer discounted rates to outside groups that bring people with special needs (such as carers or people who suffer from ill health) as well as groups involved in interfaith dialogue, peace-building and conflict resolution;
run special days for carers and senior citizens to give them a well deserved break in beautiful surroundings;
fund improvements inside and outside the Centre that we would normally find difficult to afford (for example, new books for the library, new items of furniture or plants for the garden).
