Jewish-Christian Dialogue Weekend: Visions of the other

Jews and Christians have co-existed, often in great tension, for two thousand years. This weekend will explore some of the ways in which we have seen and spoken about one another and learned, often without acknowledging it, from one another’s beliefs and traditions – and how we can create a more open dialogue for fruitful co-existence in the future.

Fiona Hulbert is a Project Manager at the Council of Christians and Jews, specialising in educational work with theological colleges and Christian-Jewish dialogue events. She also runs tours to Israel for Christian clergy to study at the Holocaust Education Centre at Yad Vashem.

Rabbi Mark Solomon is Interfaith Consultant for Liberal Judaism, Rabbi of the Edinburgh and Manchester Liberal Jewish Communities, and Lecturer in Talmud at Leo Baeck College. He is Co-Chairman of the London Society of Jews and Christians and of the Interfaith Alliance UK, and a Trustee of the Ammerdown Centre.
