Soul Talk

“Human conversation is the most ancient and easiest way to cultivate the conditions for change.” (Margaret J Wheatley)

Most conversations are enjoyable social meetings but some conversations carry us to a deeper, more numinous place together. We call these deep, transforming conversations “soul conversations”.

They involve a process of deep listening, awareness and openness together with a sense of being guided by the questions rather than the solutions. As well as deepening personal connections these conversations can become a powerful tool for personal and social transformation and healing.

Is it possible to consciously learn how to have Soul Conversations? The answer is a resounding Yes! There are in fact many methods for this form of conversation, some of which have been developed and used to bring about resolution in situations of conflict.

In this workshop we will:

  • Reflect on our own personal and group experiences of those life giving soul conversations.
  • Explore how soul conversations can help us in times of personal and social conflict.
  • Examine the internal and external obstacles and enablers to soul conversations.
  • Practice well used methods that enable us to create such conversations in our own lives.
  • Find practical ways of community and relationship building through facilitating soul conversations.

Exploring the above will allow us to tap into the enormous power, potential and understanding of the heart, which is central to the whole weekend.

This highly experiential workshop will be facilitated by Heather-Jane Ozanne and Maggie Whiteley.

Heather-Jane is founder and CEO of Spirit of Peace. She has a professional background in social and community work and is developing the training course in Pathways for Peace. She is also a trained spiritual director and experienced retreat leader.

Maggie Whiteley is an international coach and spiritual advisor with over thirty years experience of running Personal and Spiritual Development groups. She takes a holistic and spiritual approach to coaching and her own life and the purpose of her work is to unlock the dreams of the human spirit.

Led by: Heather-Jane Ozanne and Maggie Whitely

Please arrive by 6pm on Friday.  Course ends with lunch on Sunday.
