Learning to Be at Home (Part Two) - A retreat with a difference

This is the second part of a retreat offered over two weekends. It is only open to people who have already done Part 1, either earlier this year (see 1 to 3 April) or in a previous year.

The retreat will be facilitated by Sr Monica Butler, an experienced educator and spiritual director, who has come to recognise that all we need is already present. She therefore passionately believes that the ‘task’ of our lives is to reclaim our true self.

She writes: “It is a gentle coming-together of many aspects of our search for fulfilment. I describe it as a process of self-discovery in God. The aim is to connect more deeply with our true identity, through the integration of all our life experience, both the joys and sorrows and the successes and failures. The process itself draws on the wisdom and mystical tradition of the five great world religions.

This can be an exciting and energising way of helping us claim the real ‘me’. We will work with a story about someone who became lost, and this will enable our own inner journey. There will be some input, conversation, energy work and time for reflective prayer. And, above all, time just for you to BE!”

Part 2 will explore the conscious and unconscious aspects of our being and how we can recover our intuition and desire, whilst Part 1 focussed on ‘coming home to the soul’.

*Special discount: £460 when booking Learning to Be at Home Part 1 and Part 2 at the same time. £307for non-residents.
