Introducing Heart Rhythm Meditation

Heart Rhythm Meditation is an ancient method of meditation which involves a concentration on the heart (both the physical heart and the emotional or poetic heart), and an intervention in the breath to make it rhythmic through the coordination of the breath and heartbeat.

Alistair Beattie is a certified teacher, mentor and retreat guide in Heart Rhythm Meditation. He explains: “The weekend will be an opportunity for you to take a journey with your heart and learn to bring together the heartbeat and the breath – the two basic rhythms we all share. This can have many benefits:

Our physical hearts – offering a technique for physical health of circulation, nervous and immune systems;
Our emotional hearts – bringing an emotional healing to the wounds of the heart, reducing stress and developing joy;
Our spiritual hearts – offering a spiritual path for finding connection to the Self and remembering the purpose of life;

Therefore, whatever you are seeking in life, I do hope that Heart Rhythm Meditation will have something to offer you.”

Please note that no previous experience of meditation is needed.
