INDIVIDUALLY GUIDED RETREAT

Monday 24 May to Monday 31 May Cost: Residential: £495, Non-residential: £330

Please arrive by 5pm on Monday (Mass will be said at 5.30pm). Course finishes with breakfast on the following Monday.

Once a year Ammerdown offers an Individually Guided Retreat under the direction of experienced Spiritual Directors. It is a week dedicated to silent prayer, reflection and reading, as well as relaxation and rest in the beautiful and tranquil setting of Ammerdown. Many past retreatants have commented that they have felt profoundly blessed by these retreats, and shared tales of deeper self-knowledge, spiritual growth and more acute awareness of the way God is at work within them.

In 2010, we welcome Fr. Raymond Hayne and Sr Elizabeth Rees as our retreat leaders. Father Raymond has been a priest for fifty years, first as an Anglican and, for the last 12 years, as a Roman Catholic. He is married and lives near Warminster. He is a practising spiritual director and a retired parish priest. Sr Elizabeth OCV is a counsellor and Spiritual Director who runs a small House of Prayer in the village of Butleigh, south of Glastonbury. She writes and lectures on Spirituality.

Each retreatant will meet on a daily basis with their chosen retreat guide for one to one accompaniment. In addition, Fr Raymond will celebrate Mass every day.
