Challenged by Life's Transition - A Guided Retreat

This retreat will be led by Sr Germaine O’Neill. She writes: “All of us go through numerous transitions in our lives - leaving home, changing jobs, experiencing separation/loss of one kind or another. We do not just ‘get over’ significant crises in our lives. There is always a slow, painful process of grieving before we can move on. This retreat will provide an ideal opportunity to pause, listen and reflect. We will listen to what present-day spiritual writers are saying. And we will listen to each other and to our own hearts, seeking God’s wisdom and guidance.”

Sr Germaine is a Loreto Sister who spent 37 years as a missionary in Kenya. Since coming back to the UK in 2000, she has been involved in retreat work, spiritual guidance and individual counselling. She is a regular retreat leader at Ammerdown, much loved for her gentle guidance and profound wisdom. “Inspiring and thought-provoking coupled with great sensitivity and insight” is how one of her past retreatants described her.
